Sander Tideman

Director and Founder

Sander Tideman is founder of Triple Value Leadership. A former international lawyer and finance executive, he is a specialist in leadership development and organizational transformation, motivated by building the capacity to address the unprecedented social and ecological challenges of this age. Tideman is Executive Director of Garrison Institute International and serves on the faculty of Mobius Executive Leadership in Boston and Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University in the Netherlands.

Annemieke van der Werff

Annemieke van der Werff is a strategic human resources executive with deep global experience in the financial services industry. She currently is the US Director at “Triple Value Leadership,” a newly established center dedicated to develop sustainable and compassionate leadership for next generation leaders. Prior to this, Annemieke co-led the Compassionate Leadership in Finance (CLiF) program at the Garrison Institute in New York. She is the former Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at MUFG for the Americas, and global head of talent management and talent acquisition functions for the Tokyo-based organization. Annemieke played a crucial role in driving the mindfulness movement within the bank, acting as a catalyst and executive sponsor. She was the global head of HR at HSBC Holdings Plc., leading the HR function for the global retail bank and global corporate functions. Her career began at ABN AMRO Bank, where she ultimately served as the CHRO for ABN AMRO North America and LaSalle Bank Corporation. With her experience living and working in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Latin America, and the United States, Annemieke brings a diverse perspective to her work.

She obtained her B.S. in Human Resources and Labor Market Policies at the Amsterdam/Haarlem Business School. She is also certified in organizational development and change management at the SIOO Institute in The Netherlands. She completed the Advanced Human Resources Executive Program at the University of Michigan, Ross Executive Education.

Emiel van Sambeek

Trained as a biologist and environmental scientist, Emiel van Sambeek has been working in the sustainable energy transition in research, consultancy, finance, as a leader and entrepreneur for over two decades. His experience took him across Europe, Africa, U.S. and Asia, in particular China, where he lived from 2008 to 2013 and where he was also introduced to ancient contemplative traditions and practices. Emiel is deeply connected with nature and loves to share his passion for nature through nature education and conservation activities. Bringing together his insights from the energy transition and nature Emiel currently focuses on helping leaders and organisations navigate the enormous environmental challenges and transitions ahead of us.

Jeroen Drontmann

For the last 30 years Jeroen specialized in the areas of organizational chance, team effectiveness, leadership development and executive coaching.
Jeroen started his career as a management consultant at Holland Consulting Group and Coopers & Lybrand. In 1994 he started his independent practice Heart Matters because the heart matters! His passion is to connect people with themselves (head, heart and hands) and with each other. He published several articles on this topic as well as two books, Persoonlijk Succes (Personal Success) in 1993 and Hoofd ontmoet Hart (Head meets Heart) in 2002. He studied law and holds a postgraduate degree in management consultancy. He is certified in tools such as The Leadership Circle, Leadership Style Inventory, FiroB and Barrett Cultural Transformation.

Reinier Tilanus

Reinier Tilanus is executive coach and facilitator with many years of business experience, of which sixteen years with Unilever in Supply Chain. He has lived and worked in Holland, Germany and Vietnam and extensively travelled in Asia. He has been a dedicated Buddhist practitioner for over twenty years with several teachers and is also a certified mindfulness trainer.

Edie Farwell

Deploying a whole-systems approach to address the climate crisis, Edie leverages decades of experience building close-knit international networks for environment, sustainability, and social justice. She coaches sustainability champions to advance high impact climate and social justice initiatives. Edie co-founded the Donella Meadows Leadership Fellows Program where she designed transformative leadership skills through a focus on systems thinking, reflective conversation, the discipline of vision, and coaching. To expand this work she founded and directs the Sustainability Leaders Network,

Early in her career Edie was the executive director of the Association for Progressive Communications, where facilitated the early adoption of information and communications technologies through a global network of civil society organizations. This included leading international teams to provide the newly created internet services at several United Nations world conferences, including the 1992 U.N. Earth Summit in Brazil, the 1993 U.N. Human Rights Conference in Austria, and the 1995 U.N. Women’s Conference in China — for which she was profiled in the 2020 book They Didn’t See Us Coming: The Hidden History of Feminism in the Nineties.

Edie and her family were early pioneers of the Cobb Hill eco-village experiment in sustainable living in Hartland, Vermont.

Myra Pieters-Engelkes

A licensed psychotherapist in private practice for three decades, Myra has ample experience in reading people and their motivations. She has developed a unique style of therapy based in the traditional psychoanalytic school, supplemented with many years of Buddhist studies (specifically Tibetan Buddhism) with several expert teachers, as well as knowledge about the human energy field.
With a deep longing to serve humans in all their endeavors in creating a meaningful and valuable life, she embarked on a Vision Quest to Lapland in 2022. She experienced there what a meticulous teacher Nature is in mirroring back our own true Nature. In her work with clients, she loves to really meet people where they are, and to be present in such a way that the other feels maximally invited to show their true being.

Bineke Heringa is a highly experienced haptotherapist and EFT practitioner with a background in physiotherapy. Her work centers on integrating body awareness and energy-based techniques to support healing and personal growth.

Bineke was initially trained as a physiotherapist and began working in the field around 1984. Early on, she became fascinated by the connection between body, mind, and emotions, which led her to further training in haptonomy, haptotherapy, and muscular chain therapy.

With over 25 years of experience, she supports clients with a wide range of issues, including stress, burnout, trauma, addiction, phobias, relationships and performance. Her holistic approach combines haptotherapy, yoga, mindfulness, EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) and Polyvagal Theory.

Joseph (Joe) Loizzo, MD, PhD, is a Harvard-trained psychiatrist and Columbia-trained Buddhist scholar with over forty years’ experience studying the beneficial effects of contemplative practices on healing, learning and development. He is Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry in Integrative Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College, where he researches and teaches contemplative self-healing and optimal health. He has taught the philosophy of science and religion, the scientific study of contemplative states, and the Indo-Tibetan mind and health sciences at Columbia University, where he is Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Columbia Center for Buddhist Studies.

Peter Blom became Director at Triodos Bank in 1989, where he had been working since its inception in 1980. He served as CEO from 1997 until May 2021, and played a key role in the founding of SFL alongside Klaas van Egmond and Herman Wijffels. Peter currently serves as Co-Chair of the Sustainable Finance Lab (alongside Dirk Schoenmaker), and was the founder and Chair of the Global Alliance for Banking on Values (GABV.org) until March 2021. He is now a member of the Supervisory Board of DNB and Chair of the CPC (CPB Oversight Authority).
